A multi-award winning property auctioneer, James Pratt is regarded as one of the industry’s elite auctioneers and agents in Australia. At present he holds 41 sale price records at auction and is the Global Auctioneer Ambassador for Juwai.com, China’s number one property portal.
In addition, James has won some of the industry’s highest honours, including being the 2018 Australian Real Estate Thought Leader of the Year Finalist, a 2018 and 2017 REB Australian Auctioneer of the Year Finalist, while in 2014, James was appointed chairman of the Real Estate Institute of NSW’s Auctioneer Board, the same year that he won the prestigious REINSW John Hill Award for Real Estate Excellence. Other awards include the 2013 McGrath Auctioneer of the Year award, being a finalist in 2012 and a NAC auctioneer winner.
Highly-regarded by his peers, James is a regular speaker at real estate conferences around the world, and in 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2016, James was in strong demand as a judge at REINSW’s auctioneer events, while in 2014, 2016 and 2017, he was the ‘ Australia’s REIA auctioneer judge for NSW and ACT.
At Present James also sits on the board of a number property related advisory groups in Australia.
James works closely with and is highly respected within the Real estate elite in luxury and celebrity markets and as the CEO of James Pratt Auctions Group he is highly skilled in running record breaking auctions and also in linking international investors with the right project from his long client list.
